Drawings

Here are two drawings of friends. I wanted to get back to working at a larger scale with charcoal and pastel. I also wanted to work more traditionally after producing the smaller collage portraits.

Spanish Civil War prisoner series continued...

The above pieces are more work from my Spanish Civil War book project. I'm nearing the end of the image making part of the process. Next, I'll be putting a book together for a show in September.

Recent sketchbook work

Here are some examples of recent work from my sketchbook. The first two were created during a beach trip with family and friends. The third is of my grandfather. I've had fun playing around with pastels and trying to incorporate the color with my line work.
